Course Description

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who work primarily in an office environment and the course can be tailored to address a broad range of administrative competencies in varied work contexts.  The participants may provide support to a team or have a degree of individual autonomy. This course is well suited to support a formal Business Administration Traineeship, new entrants to the workforce, current staff or job seekers who want to undertake a relevant qualification.

Course Subjects

A minimum of 13 units including (2) core industry units plus (11) elective units must be completed to achieve a qualification in Certificate III in Business Administration [BSB30407]. 

Of the 11 elective units, at least 7 units must be from the administration electives listed below and up to 4 units may be from the generic Business elective units or from another current endorsed national training package (provided it is relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and the qualification level) – up to 2 units may be from Certificate II or Certificate IV level.
