Certificate IV Financial Services
Course Description
The Certificate IV in Financial Services will provide you with basic accounting skills and train you to use computers in the accounting environment, leading to careers such as accounts receivable and payable clerks, payroll clerks, bookkeepers, general clerical assistants or trainee accountants.
This course is especially designed for employees who perform duties such as completing Business Activity Statement (BAS) and other office taxes, operational reporting, producing basic management and job costing reports, preparing budgets, maintaining inventory records and making decisions in a legal context.

Course Subjects
A minimum of 13 units including (4) core industry units plus (9) elective units must be completed to achieve a qualification in Certificate IV in Financial Services [FNS40107].
Of the 9 elective units 6 units must be selected from the Financial Services Training Package (see list below), 3 units may be selected from other endorsed packages at Certificate IV level. 1 unit may be selected from Certificate III level and up to 2 units from Diploma level.

Upon successfully completing this course, you will be awarded the nationally recognised qualification of Certificate IV in Financial Services.
