The Introduction to Commercial Lending and Lending to the Self Employed Course is designed for Credit Union and Building Society consumer lending staff who require practical knowledge of Commercial Lending and Lending to the Self-Employed practices.
Course Outcome
This course will equip you with the theory, knowledge and skills to provide operational support to organisations dealing in Commercial Lending and Lending to the Self-Employed products and services. The strength of this course, apart from satisfying adult learning principles is that our training can be applied in an everyday workplace environment.
Who Should Enrol?
The course has been developed to cater for Credit union and Building Society lending staff that deal with small business lending or self-employed applicants. These staff may have:
- at least 12 months lending experience with consumer borrowers;
- only limited experience in dealing with self-employed applicants;
- deal with self-employed applicants but not in a commercial lending sense; or
- have a business relationship role and are trying to build a greater portfolio of commercial clients.
