Course Overview
The Introduction to Consumer Lending course is designed for Credit Union and Building Society consumer lending staff who require practical knowledge in Consumer Lending practices.
Course Outcome
This course will equip you with the theory, knowledge and skill to provide operational support to organisations dealing in Consumer Lending products and services. The strength of this course, apart from satisfying adult learning principles is that our training can be applied in an everyday workplace environment.
Who should enrol?
This course is designed for currently employed Credit Union and Building Society consumer lending staff that may have:
- limited or no experience in consumer lending;
- Experienced in mortgage or commercial lending but yet to conduct consumer lending;
- May conduct only one area of the consumer lending cycle and don’t have complete knowledge; or
- Completed consumer lending course prior to the Uniform Consumer Credit Code (UCCC - Nov 1996).
